Starting from pole position, Bacon overtook race leader Daison Pursley on lap 19 of the 30-lap feature. The victory marks Chris Dyson Racing's first USAC National Sprint Car win since June 2018. Bacon now sits just three wins behind Dave Darland's all-time record of 62 victories.

Key Race Highlights:

  • Bacon passed Pursley in traffic on lap 19
  • Multiple cautions in the closing laps didn't affect Bacon's dominant performance
  • Finished 0.926 seconds ahead of second-place Pursley
  • Justin Grant finished third, followed by Mitchel Moles and Kyle Cummins

The win extends Bacon's streak to 15 consecutive years with at least one USAC National Sprint Car feature victory. Despite competing on a part-time schedule this season, Bacon maintains his position between record-holder Dave Darland (62 wins) and Justin Grant (55 wins) on the all-time wins list.

Championship Standings:

  1. Kyle Cummins - 303 points
  2. Daison Pursley - 301
  3. Justin Grant - 293
  4. Logan Seavey - 252
  5. Mitchel Moles - 238

The Winter Dirt Games XVI continues at Ocala Speedway with two more nights of racing on February 14-15, 2025.
