Early race leader Brent Crews, who set a track record in qualifying, retired with transmission issues. Paul Menard, running strong in second place, later crashed out after a lockup. Adam Andretti finished second despite early ignition box issues, with David Pintaric completing the podium.

In other classes:

  • XGT: Paul Tracy dominated from start to finish in his Race Cars For You/Innovation IRC GT
  • SGT: Joshua Carlson led wire-to-wire in the Enseva/Diercks Ltd./TC Fab Ford Mustang
  • GT: Chris Coffey secured his second victory of 2024 in his Maserati MC GT4
  • GT1 Challenge: Rob Dickey won in his Trans Am debut

The race finished under yellow flag conditions following multiple incidents. Brabham's victory marks his first TA class win since 2023.
