Austin Berry Makes Late Model Return After 10-Month Hiatus
Austin Berry Returns to Late Model Racing After Year-Long Break

Modified sprint car racing on dirt
Austin Berry made his return to super late model racing at Selinsgrove Speedway, marking his first appearance since June 2024. Driving his No.86 car, Berry showed promising speed despite the extended break.
At Selinsgrove Speedway, Berry qualified 5th in his group and secured 11th starting position with a 4th-place heat finish. Though he finished 17th in the main event due to setup issues, Berry demonstrated strong potential in the limited late model class, running as high as 3rd before tire issues dropped him to 11th.
The following day at Port Royal Speedway, Berry qualified an impressive 3rd in his flight among 35 competitors. Starting 14th in the main event, he finished 16th in what proved to be an uneventful race.
Berry commented, "It never feels good to go backwards, but it was nice to have speed in qualifying again! The motor ran great all weekend. We just need to tune our package for later in the night."
