Alex Karpowicz, a 21-year-old racer from Spring Branch, TX, is joining Keith Kunz/Curb Agajanian Motorsports (KKM) to compete in the 2025 Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota. He'll be piloting the No. 97 Lynk Chassis Midget.

Karpowicz brings impressive credentials from his Micro Sprint career, including two NOW600 Stock Non-Wing Division championships in 2022 and 2023. His first experience with a KKM Midget came during the NOS Energy Drink Chili Bowl Nationals in January, where he began adapting to the team's unique setup.

"Their cars are definitely different from what I'm used to," Karpowicz notes. "We came to Tulsa to try and shorten that learning curve as quickly as we could."

The young racer is particularly excited about competing on larger tracks like Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, MO, drawing from his experience on quarter-mile tracks in Texas. His ambitious goals for the 2025 season include securing both the Rookie of the Year title and the Series championship.

The season kicks off at Farmer City Raceway for the Illini 100, scheduled for April 10-12, where Karpowicz will begin his pursuit of these championships alongside the World of Outlaws Late Models.
