Airborne Park Speedway announces significant changes for the 2025 racing season, focusing on expanding two key racing divisions to enhance the North Country racing community.

Limited Sportsman Division will become a regular fixture in 2025, joining the Thursday night schedule alongside 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Renegades, and Mini Stocks. This expansion follows a successful 2024 season that featured only two Limited Sportsman races, won by Keith Pelkey and Caleb Durgan. The division aims to provide newer open-wheel drivers more track time and experience before advancing to the competitive sportsman division.

The Crown Vic division, an entry-level class gaining popularity in the southeastern United States, will also see increased participation in 2025. After a successful debut at Airborne Park during the 2024 Elegance Coating Championship Weekend, where Eric Friend claimed victory in the feature race, the Crown Vics will now appear regularly on Saturday nights and special events.

These changes come under the management of Mike and Alayne Bruno, who began their five-year lease in 2024. The track's 2024 season demonstrated strong participation, with the sportsman division averaging 32 cars per event. Additional details about the 2025 season will be announced in the coming weeks through the Airborne Park Speedway Facebook page and MyRacePass app.
