Here are the five main ways to pay for charging at EVgo stations:

1. EVgo Mobile App Download the app, create an account, add payment details, and start charging. The app helps you locate stations, initiate charging, and manage your session directly from your phone.

2. EVgo Program Card (RFID) After creating an EVgo account, you'll receive an RFID card by mail. Simply tap the activated card at any EVgo charger to start and pay for charging. Charges are automatically billed to your account.

3. Roaming Partner Cards Use your existing charging network cards (like ChargePoint) at EVgo stations through partner roaming agreements. Billing occurs through your primary charging account.

4. EVgo Autocharge+ Available for most CCS-compatible vehicles (including Teslas with CCS adapters), Autocharge+ enables automatic charging and payment when you plug in - no app or card needed. Enroll through the EVgo app.

5. Credit Card & Apple Pay Non-account holders can pay directly at most stations using:

  • Credit cards via the station's card reader
  • Apple Pay (at select locations) using iPhone or Apple Watch

Additional Benefits:

  • EVgo Rewards™: Earn points toward charging credit when using the app, program card, or Autocharge+
  • Extensive Coverage: 140 million Americans live within 10 miles of an EVgo charger

Important Notes:

  • EVgo accounts offer better rates than pay-as-you-go charging
  • Credit card payments include a $2.99 transaction fee
  • Not all stations have credit card readers
  • Rewards points only apply to EVgo network charges, not roaming partner sessions
